Family and friends of Bryce Buchholz will gather at the Polish Falcons Club in Depew tomorrow evening (Saturday, August 25) to remember the 14-year-old who was killed by a drunk driver last May 3 as they try to raise money for a bike park to be built in Lancaster in Bryce's memory.

Friends say Bryce Buchholz loved the "Sunday orange crush" BMX bike he received for Christmas.  Bryce and his friends rode their bikes throughout Lancaster, doing stunts whenever and wherever they could find a place and the time.  Tragically, Bryce was killed when he was struck by a drunk driver while riding his bike on Lake Avenue.

Friends and family are now working to raise $150,000 in hopes of turning a plot of land in the village into a safe place for kids like Bryce to ride their bikes.  Many fundraisers are in the works, including a benefit and bike competition this weekend:

Memorial Bike Park Benefit—August 25th
