The 2022 NFL schedule will be released next Thursday night, live on The NFL Network. However, games will slowly be revealed by networks at the beginning of next week; and as we know from past years, leaks will happen next week as well.

The Buffalo Bills are the Super Bowl favorites heading into 2022 season. They have one of the two or three best quarterbacks in the NFL, Josh Allen, who just might be the best overall player in the league by this point.

It's no secret the Bills are a draw for TV ratings right now. Buffalo always has incredible ratings when the Bills on, along with Buffalo transplants watching the game who are not living in Western New York anymore.

The Bills are arguably the best team in football right now too, so it's safe to assume they will be getting a few prime time games when the schedule comes out next week.

Bills general manager Brandon Beane gave his thoughts on potential matchups for week 1.

Beane told Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk that he always looks to see if the week 1 game is at home and if it's on prime time, or the traditionally 1 pm start for the Bills.

Beane said he "doesn't care" if week 1 is on the road or at home. He looks to see if it's a home game to start, but either way they will have to play them all.

My guess is the Bills will be playing at least four prime time games in 2022, if not five when it's all said and done. They will also likely have at least two 4:25 pm kickoffs in there.

That's the price you pay to be the fan of a consistently good team. Less 1 pm kickoffs, which I know many Bills fans love.
