A federal jury found Dzhkohar Tsarnaev guilty of 30 counts related to the deadly Boston Marathon bombing in 2013.

Seventeen of the charges against Tsarnaev, including three deaths, are punishable by the death penalty. The same jury must now decide if he should be sentenced to life in prison without parole, or the death penalty. The penalty phase of the trial will most likely begin next week, but no date has been announced at this time.
