All retail outlets and by-mail services are going away.

It will be one of those things in 10-20 years where kids won't have a clue what "Blockbuster Video" was.

Blockbuster is owned by DISH Network and says they will close the remaining 300 stores by early 2014. With the closings, over 2,800 employees will be laid off.

With the demand moving toward digital delivery, it's not that surprising of a move. There are only a couple remaining Blockbuster Express locations in West Seneca and Amherst.

Forward progress. Do you hear that US Post Office?

What are your Blockbuster memories?
