Bills Rookies Try Chicken Wings In Buffalo For The First Time [VIDEO]

The food is one of the best parts about living in Western New York. We have it made with amazing, local dishes and fantastic locally-owned businesses that serve up many of those local dishes; such as wings and beef on weck.

In case you missed it, Bills sixth-round draft pick, safety Damar Hamlin, asked fans on Twitter this past week which places he should go to for wings in Buffalo...fans were all over it, giving him the full to-do list.

The Buffalo Bills decided to have their own fun with the topic of wings. They had many of their 2021 draft picks and undrafted free agents try authentic wings (Duff’s) and with blue cheese, because if you’re from Buffalo, it HAS to be blue cheese (not ranch).

All in all, the Bills rookies loved the wings and admitted they weren’t joking how much better wings are here than anywhere else.

Some funny moments though; such as wide receiver Marquez Stevenson smelling the blue cheese up close before trying some. Had to pass the smell test I guess!

Cornerback Olaijah Griffin said he had never eaten blue cheese before, but after trying the wings, said they were “fire.” Which basically means they’re amazing.

I would love for the rookies to take a food tour. You know, take a tour for beef on weck places next. Maybe try some sponge candy destinations or some of the best breweries in Buffalo. The wing tour would probably last a month or two.
