The stigma of Buffalo has been frustrating to say the least.

For years, we hear the jokes people (usually, those who don't live here) make of Western New York. The snow, the winters, the fact there's nothing to do here (there is, by the way) and the lack of success for our two major sports teams (the Bills and Sabres).

Perhaps the lack of success was true for the Bills a few years ago, but certainly not anymore. The Bills have now made the playoffs two of the past three seasons and were one game away from the Super Bowl in 2020. They have one of the best quarterbacks in the league and have a host of other star players.

So, it's safe to say players want to stay here now. Take Bills cornerback Levi Wallace for example. Wallace signed a one-year deal to remain with the Bills for 2021 and what he told his agent when he hit the free agent market will warm Bills' fans hearts.

According to Mike Garafolo of The NFL Network, Wallace asked his agent to not even counter other teams' offers...he wanted to stay in Buffalo and win a Super Bowl. It was even backed up by agent, C.J. LaBoy.

That's amazing. For a professional athlete to say that, when they have every right to go see what else is out there and maximize their value, to go out of their way to come back to Buffalo says something.
