The Buffalo Bills went into Sunday's week 5 matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers as 14.5-point favorites, however, they were dealing with an array of injuries to key starters.

Micah Hyde, Jordan Poyer, Isaiah McKenzie, Tremaine Edmunds and Christian Benford all missed the game but it didn't matter in the slightest.

The Bills dismantled the Steelers, 38-3.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen had an absolute monster first half, throwing for 348 yards and four touchdowns, two of which were to Gabe Davis.

The first was a 98-yard touchdown reception on the first drive of the game and the second was a 51-yard snag, which saw Davis wrestle the ball away from the defender.

Allen threw for 424 yards, which came up 40 yards shy of the record set by Drew Bledsoe in 2002, for the most passing yards by a Bills quarterback in a single game (463). That was in week 2 against the Minnesota Vikings back in 2002, which ended in a Peerless Price overtime touchdown reception.

The Steelers offense never even had a chance to get going.

Pittsburgh decided to run the ball with Najee Harris on the first few drives and by the time they let rookie Kenny Pickett throw the ball, they were down three touchdowns.

One of the biggest storylines from the game was the stellar play of rookie wide receiver Khalil Shakir, who caught 3 passes for 75 yards and his first career touchdown. He also looked very good on punt and kick return duties.

This game was important because it showed the Bills could beat a team convincingly, when they were supposed to win handily, and do so severely shorthanded on offense and defense.

The Bills move to 4-1 and now will have the matchup everyone has been waiting for -- another game in Arrowhead Stadium against their rival, the Kansas City Chiefs.
