Imagine owning game-worn jerseys of legendary Buffalo Bills Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas and Andre Reed, and also happening to have other huge memorabilia such as a game-worn jacket from Marv Levy, game worn shoes from Doug Flutie and Scott Norwood's game worn helmet in Super Bowl XXV.  Then...DONATING them!

That's what Greg Tranter did, an Elmira native now living in Worcester, Massachusetts. His collection is made up 6,000 game-worn jerseys, pads, gloves cups, mugs and glasses! Greg donated his entire collection to the Buffalo History Museum. A pretty big day for the museum I'd say!

Melissa Brown, executive director of the museum, told Buffalo Rising...

“Greg’s passionate pursuit of all things Bills inspires nostalgia in all of us; it’s exciting to know that the memories to be shared in the community are infinite, with much appreciation, this occasion brings to mind our purpose of being: for over 150 years, individuals have entrusted The Buffalo History Museum with their treasures to document and safe keep the connections they symbolize.”
