I'm not revolutionary here, I'm just trying to test something.

Lots of studies say we will gain an average of 7 pounds between Thursday (Thanksgiving) and the new year.  Do you think you do more?  Less?  Lets put it to the test, semi-scientifically.

This morning (Tuesday), I asked you to be near a scale where ever you happen to be around 7:15am.  Wednesday, weigh yourself. Write down the number...don't tell anyone (or tell everyone, if you're brave).  On January 2nd, I'm going to ask you to do the same thing at the same time (see? Clearly scientific), and note the difference.  With any luck, you'll have lost a few due to regular blood sugar maintenance. Hahahaha who am I kidding with that?!?!  But seriously, lets all do this together and see where we end up.  Remember, we'll NEVER actually say what your weigh is/was.  We'll only talk the difference in the plus or minus poundage sense.

Obviously if you're already on your morning commute at 7:15, do it before you hop in the shower (buck-naked is the sure-fire way to get the most accurate reading).  Just remember to write it down, and when we re-visit in January, do it at the same time.  I want to see if those "study people" have any idea what they're talking about, or if they're largely (pun intended) underestimating our ability to pack it on over the holidays.  I kind of fancy myself the champ at this.  Only problem is, it's twice as hard to take off as it is to put on.  But not nearly as fun.
