No one likes to drive on the thruway while it is icy, especially when they are in a hurry. Matt Strasser was on his way driving on the icy interstate 97 to take his pregnant wife to the hospital to have their baby delivered. They were just minutes away from the hospital when they had to pull over, and not because of they icy conditions. She could not wait any longer she said. They had to pull over because the baby was coming out. Matt called 911, but it was to late. The baby was already coming out and after three pushes the baby was completely out. When Matt successfully had his newborn baby in his hands, the family relaxed and reflected on their momentous morning.
