Plans are rolling full steam ahead for the new Binghamton University School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Johnson City and the development could not ask for a more enthusiastic cheerleader than the founding Dean, Dr. Gloria Meredith.

Dean Meredith appears on the February 20 edition of the local public affairs program, Southern Tier Close Up and not only gives an overview of the course offerings and the research priorities planned for the school but also the opportunities for the whole new medical campus off Corliss Avenue that will include the relocation of the Decker School of Nursing.

The Dean is equally enthusiastic about the anticipated benefits to the entire Village of Johnson City from the development of the Pharmacy School and the reuse and restoration of historic property as part of the campus.

Southern Tier Close Up can be heard Saturdays at 12:10 p.m. on News Radio 1290 WNBF And at WNBF.COM!
