Taste of Buffalo 2017 has come and gone and all that I have left are delicious memories. I was fortunate enough to be asked by my co-host Keith Kelly to help him 'judge' this year. And by 'judge' I mean; help him finish all the food he must taste. Every judge gets 5 restaurants, and each restaurant provides every  item on the menu that can be three to four different tastings per restaurant. I am not great at math but figure 15-20 plates of food. It is a huge undertaking, albeit a delicious one. Before the TOB, I have never been to any of the establishments below other than The Buffalo Beer Project.

Here is where we visited and what we tasted:

Our host: Clarence Center Coffee Co. & Café

What we consumed: Oreo Shake, Chipotle Dip & Tortilla Chips

Great "sweet treat" and the Oreo Shake was the perfect chill for the hot day

Our host: Schnitzel & Co.

What we consumed: Spaetzle, Chicken Schnitzel w/Fontina Cream, Sweet & Sour Cabbage, Reuben Slider

The chicken was fantastic, the Rueben delicious and I was personally "blown away" by the sweet and sour cabbage- It brought back memories of my grandmother and mom's recipe-

Our host: New York Beer Project

What we consumed: Upper East Side Slider, Grilled Pork & Goat Cheese Quesadilla, Mac Pork Sandwich, West Village Slider

The mac pork sandwich... two great tastes together. the cheese quesadilla had just the right amount of "kick".

Everything we tasted was great, I only wish I saved room for dessert- for a full list of all the 2017 winners CLICK HERE!
