Just when you thought it was safe to walk away from the radio, TV or weather radio...ANOTHER, yes another Winter Weather Advisory from the National Weather Service Office in Buffalo for today. The likelihood is that this will impact the afternoon commute more-so than this mornings.

Makes me wonder what we did before Winter Weather Advisories, Watches, Warnings, Alerts?

Here is the latest advisory (UPDATED 6am Wednesday):

.WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EST THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches
  expected. The heaviest snow will fall during the mid afternoon
  through early evening.

* WHERE...Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Erie, Genesee, Wyoming,
  Livingston, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Allegany counties.

* WHEN...Until 10 PM EST this evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on snow covered and slippery road
  conditions developing making travel difficult. The hazardous
  conditions will significantly impact the evening commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Periods of snow will result in snow covered roads and limited
visibilities. Slow down and use caution while driving.
