If you watched the Bills games last year, chances are, you've seen this guy at every single game.  Although, he spent most of his time here in a baseball cap.

He didn't see a lot of playing time, but he was known to be very important in the quarterback room. Davis Webb was seen as almost another quarterback coach for the Bills.  He was on the sidelines next to Josh Allen almost every time he came off the field with a tablet and some words for our starter.

This year, it looks as though the Bills will be without Webb after he announced on social media that he will be heading back to New Jersey to be with his former Offensive Coordinator from here in Buffalo, Brian Daboll.

We've had a few pieces of our team head to New Jersey now to be on the Giants.  It started with Assistant General Manager Jim Shoen, then coach Daboll.  Since then we've seen the offensive line coach Bobby Johnson leave and now Davis Webb.

This will be a return to the Giants for Webb.  He was a backup to Eli Manning during his first tenure there.

The offensive line coach position has already been filled by Aaron Kromer who is no stranger to the area.  He was the line coach in 2015-2016.  However, the quarterback room is getting thinner by the minute.  As it is right now, the Bills obviously have Allen locked in, but other than that, there isn't anyone officially behind him.  Mitch Trubisky was a one year signing so he is a free agent that could land in a starting spot somewhere else.  Jake Fromm was picked up by the Giants in December.  Now Webb has gone to New Jersey too.

After so many years of looking for a QB1, it's strange to feel like having a QB2 is a priority but it is an extremely important position to fill.

We will miss Webb's daily races in camp with Josh Allen.  Who is gonna fill those shoes?
