Amherst Decides Fate of Chuck E Cheese After 19 Incidents
There have been 19 SERIOUS INCIDENTS AT THIS CHUCK E CHEESE! 19!!
The company that owns the place in Amherst, CEC Entertainment, got a list of incidents from the Town Board of Amherst outlinging the incidents and changes they say they need to see.
Relying on those charges, the Town Board then would vote on whether the operator is failing to maintain an orderly premises, said Town Attorney Stanley J. Sliwa. This follows several high-profile cases of violence at the Chuck E. Cheese's at Amherst since March 2017. The most recent incident, a fight between a current and former restaurant employee, came in early June", according to the Buffalo News.
The town of Amherst can take away their gaming licence if they desire too and if the changes are not made. Officals frrom CEC came into town to talk to the board and they said they are already updating surveillance and tuning back birthday parties. In addition the company says that they are improving security + employee training.
