America’s Hottest Real Estate Zip Codes Includes A Local Town

If you are selling a house right now there is a good chance you are getting way more than you even were asking! The real estate market for those trying to sell a home is hot!

But nationally, how does The Western and Central New York areas stack up? It turns out that there is at least one town and ZIP Code in the region that does very well. As a matter of fact it landed in the second spot on a very prestigious list!

According to Realtor.com, a town just down the Thruway from Buffalo has gotten a lot of attention on this list. West Irondequoit, NY (Rochester) (14617) lands just behind East Colorado Springs, CO.

I grew up in East Aurora New York and every time I drive back through that great village I notice more and more houses for sale and they sell within a day or two of being on the market. It is a trend that not only happens in the quaint village of East Aurora but around Western New York as well.

According to the list, the top 10 markets have homes that sell an average within six days which is 31 days faster than the rest of the entire country!

It’s going to be a perfect weekend to get out and do some home shopping if you are interested but just be ready to jump on a house that you like because it might go quick! I have seen houses near us in the Village of Hamburg sell within a day or two of being on the market as well!
