One of the biggest parties in WNY is this Friday, and all for a great local cause!

This morning, Jay Bonafede from the American Red Cross visited the studio, along with this year's musical guest Caitlin Koch to chat about Friday's BASH!

It's the 17th annual benefit for the American Red Cross, and if you've never been, make this your inaugural year.  If you've been before, no doubt you'll come again!

Named 'Buffalo's Best Annual Fundraiser' by Artvoice five times, this military-themed event welcomes about 4,000 dressed in camo, other military gear, and like clockwork, there's always a few Corporal Klinger's in attendance! You can bid on LOTS of one-of-a-kind aution items like trips, jewelry, and sports memorabilia, all while supporting the local chapter of the Red Cross.

Last year over $300,000 was raised to support emergency services, especially in response to last year's Snovember storm.

Filling the big (shiny) shoes for this year's musical entertainment is local singer/songwriter and X-Factor contestant Caitlin Koch.  Obviously this is the first year without the late Lance Diamond, and Koch said there will be a fitting tribute to his memory and BASH involvement.

DJ's from Signature Entertainment will also be on-hand, whom you know brings you the Mix Classics Lunch Hour each weekday on Mix 96!

The fun begins at 8pm Friday (6/5/15) at 786 Delaware Ave (VIPs at 6pm)...tickets are still available!

Be sure to Tweet your pics with #BASH2015 with @BuffaloRedCross while you're there!
