Allergy Alert: Twix Bites Recalled

A recall has been announced for TWIX Brand Unwrapped Bites.

A voluntary recall of Mars Chocolate North America's TWIX Brand Unwrapped Bites 7 oz. Stand Up Pouch with the code date 421BA4GA60 and an expiration date of 03/2015 was announced via the U.S. Food & Drug Administration on Monday.

While no reactions have been reported, it is believed that less than 25 cases of the product with this code could contain product containing peanuts and eggs, though these ingredients are not listed on the label.

Individuals with allergies to peanuts and eggs could be susceptible to an allergic reaction.

This specific lot of TWIX Bites was distributed for sale nationwide.
