All Aboard… Some Big Ships Are Coming To Buffalo

The largest concentration of tall ships come to Buffalo...

We have really come a long way in Buffalo within the past 5 years and it is only getting better. 7 traditional rig sailing vessels expected from July 4th-7th as part of the "Port Of Call Buffalo." The downside to this? It doesn't start until next year 2019.

The President of the Buffalo Lighthouse Association said,

"What we are hoping to establish is a recurring signature event for the waterfront that provides a great experience for visitors and a family experience for local residents"

A special committee of the Buffalo Lighthouse Association will be the host of this fantastic event.

"For us, it's all about the ships and the link to Buffalo's rich maritime past, But it also brings a major economical impact, and puts the waterfront on the national ship visit map"

said, Michael Vogel, president of the Buffalo Lighthouse Association.
