Director Spike Lee said, last night, he thought his film "BlacKkKlansman," got snubbed for not winning the best picture nod.  But, as a huge film fan, must say Lee is far from some of the biggest snubs in film history.

The online "Guardian" had a few words to say about Oscar snubs, in fact listing off twenty of the biggest.  One was Marilyn Monroe,

"For sheer comic pizzazz, she should have been a shoo-in for Some Like It Hot, although she wasn’t nominated – for that or anything else."

Or the film ET, not winning anything,

"Even Richard Attenborough said ET should have won best picture. And he directed Gandhi – the film that beat it."

If you are a filmie like me, the "Guardian's" list is full of shameful snubs.  Can you believe that Alfred Hitchcock ("Psycho", "North by Northwest", "The Birds"), never won????

Then there is Stanley Kubrick ("Clockwork Orange", "2001, A Space Odyssey"), what?  Here's a clip of the Kubrick's Cinematic visual brilliance and perspective.  Enjoy!
