While this holiday season may seem a little different with restrictions resulting from the pandemic, NEWS 4 (WIVB-TV) tells us one business owner has found a way to keep both the holiday spirit and the spirit of his mother alive as well.
At Patricia’s Tree Farm, 4 Eiss Hill Road in Boston, you can plant your own Christmas tree.
Owner Ken Germain’s mother Patricia loved Christmas so when she passed away he decided to transform their more than ten acres of land into the Christmas tree farm in her memory with a unique twist.
Visitors pick their own tree, plant it, and come back when they’re ready to cut it down.
And to commemorate the occasion they also receive the shovel they used with the handle engraved and a personalized ornament.
All guests are required to wear masks and follow safety protocols.
