Fatal Shooting and Barricade Situation in LeRoy [VIDEO]

The Monroe County SWAT Team is on the scene of a fatal shooting and barricade situation on Seldon Road in LeRoy.

Authorities arrived on the scene around 4:20A.M. after receiving a call stating that shots were fired in the area. Shortly after, a house fire was reported in the area of Seldon Road, but not sure if the two incidents are connected at this point.

A dispatcher reported that 68-year-old Norman "Don" Ball was fatally shot in the face, and it appeared that the suspects had left the area.

A "Shelter In Place" was put in effect for residents in the area, but has been lifted as of 8:10A.M.

As of 8:15A.M. the Genesee County Sheriff's Office have an armed suspect in custody, and the homicide investigation is underway.
