The Buffalo Bills had one of the most enthralling and heartbreaking four-year stretches of any team in NFL history, which has made it into such an attractive story to tell over 20 years later. The Bills' ride to both prominence and despair will be chronicled by one of the most heralded long-form sports television documentaries.

The 30 for 30 series, produced by and aired on ESPN, will feature the Bills and their four straight Super Bowl appearances and subsequent losses in one of their next installments. According to sources, the documentary will air during the run-up to Super Bowl 50 in 2016. Its working title, the 'Four Falls of Buffalo,' has yet to be set in stone.

No official date has been announced at this point in time. One of the latest 30 for 30 pieces also had a Buffalo connection, with the series focusing on former NBA player and Duke star Christian Laettner, who grew up in Angola, NY.
