Living in Buffalo makes travel to Canada very easy because of the close proximity. Before the pandemic, many people from Buffalo and Niagra Falls would travel to Canada all the time. People like us that live close to the border oftentimes would go just to hit the Duty-Free shop or even the Casino, in fact, before Seneca Niagra Casino opened back in 2003, the casino in Canada was where everyone would go.

Back in the 90s and even to this day, the biggest tourist attraction in Niagra Falls Ontario is Cliffton Hill. This is the main strip in Niagara Falls Ontario, just over the border with a wide range of places to eat, play games, and wax museums and recently added, more rides and activities like, miniature golf and bowling. The thing that many people that travel there like to see is the large Skyline Ferris Wheel.

7 Exciting Things To See And Do When Canada Opens

Going over the border has so many benefits for many Americans, people come from all over the world to Canada all the time. Buffalo and Niagra Falls residents are spoiled because we have the advantage of being so very close, for most people here the border is less than 20 minutes away. The thing that I have noticed over the years is, the main strip in Niagra Falls Ontario gets bigger all the time with more things to see and do. Did you know, that the first hotel was built on Ferry Rd. in the tourist area back in 1833? it's amazing to see all of the additions, even since the 90s.
