Before I moved back to Buffalo this past spring, I was living in Boston. And while I loved wandering up and down Newbury Street and looking in the cute little boutiques, it was generally window shopping only for me; my bank account wasn't a fan of the price tags.

The nice thing about Buffalo is that from the Northtowns to the Southtowns, we, too, have many great (and, more importantly, affordable!) boutiques. At last night's (Tuesday, September 25) Mercedes-Benz of Buffalo Fashion Week Boutique Runway Show, three local shops -- Hertel Avenue's Modern Nostalgia, Lee Lee in Williamsville and Anna Grace on Elmwood Avenue -- got to show off their styles. Here are six looks I totally adored.

This outfit is so fall! From the turquoises and oranges to the scarf and boots to the amazing oversized leg warmers, this outfit is perfect for the cooling weather. And did I mention those leg warmers? They're made from recycled sweaters, which I think is fantastic. Yes, I bought a pair last night, and, yes, I will be wearing them to work tomorrow. (From Modern Nostalgia)

Classy with just a tiny touch of rock 'n roll. I'm loving the chunky belt and striped skirt -- and those boots! A girl can never have enough boots! (From Modern Nostalgia)

Hello, Betty Draper! Mad Men-era fashion is totally in right now (the show also featured a very '60s-inspired dress, which I didn't get a good shot of), and this dress would look wonderful with a blazer for work or as-is for date night. (From Lee Lee)

While I myself can't support the cropped jeans look for fall -- um, hello, aren't your legs freezing?! -- I can definitely get behind this chunky sweater. With a pair of (full-length) skinny jeans? That's my go-to cold-weather outfit right there! (From Lee Lee)

I have a wedding to go to in a couple weeks, and I'm seriously considering going and buying this dress for the occasion. Love the lace, love the color. Plus, you can dress it up with a pair of heels, or dress it down with leggings and boots! (From Anna Grace)

I am all about the shirt dress! I really like that bright belt, too. And if someone could hand-deliver me that handbag ASAP, that'd be great. (From Anna Grace)
