November is the month for comfort food.  If you're looking for a great place for some food that will fill your belly and your soul, we've got a perfect list.

The weather is just starting to really change this week.  For the first time this year we can see snow in the near future.  It's in the forecast for next week already.

So while the restaurants with patio seating might be a thing of the past, a place that maybe has a fireplace or a cozy down-home feeling might be a little closer to what you're looking for.

Maybe you're just looking to try a place that you've heard so much about in the past but haven't ever been to yet.  There are tons of those restaurants here in Western New York that you always hear people talking about that you haven't tried.  You can look at this as your restaurant bucket list for the month.

We are focusing on comfort food this month.  When you think about comfort food, what makes your list?  I always think about soups and stews.  Dishes like chicken and dumplings and macaroni and cheese.  All the stuff that mom used to make when we were kids and we were feeling a little under the weather.

On the list this month include restaurants with incredible barbeque, warm belly-filling soups, fish frys, and pasta dishes that will warm you up and keep you feeling full for hours on end.

As always, I love to hear your suggestions.  What is your favorite restaurant to go to that gives you "just like mom used to make" comfort food?
