EXTRA: PIZZA HUT OPENING SEVERAL LOCATIONS IN WESTERN NEW YORK
Here are the 5 restaurants that people desperately want to come back to Western New York.
Swiss Chalet - This was the overwhelming restaurant most people want to come back to the 716. Sure we have a couple just over the border, but it has become a hassle to travel to Canada, so having one in the 716 would be awesome.
Ground Round - I remember going to the one on French Road as a kid. They used to have a deal where kids paid 1 penny per pound. My dad loved it because I could eat for like 44 cents.
Perkins - This was the go-to place after spending a night out on Chippewa Street. They were one of the few places that were opened at 4 am. The sample that had fries, onion rings, and chicken fingers was perfect after a night out.
Ruby Tuesdays - They had the all-you-can-eat salad bar and the honey butter that came with their breadsticks was amazing.
Friendly's - I remember that ice cream sundae that looked like a clown. It has the cone as a hat and Reese pieces for the eyes and whip cream for the hair.
