As we get ready to wrap up a heatwave this Friday where we saw 90+ temps for 8 straight days, another heatwave is on the horizon.

The National Weather Service in Buffalo has warned that another possible heatwave could impact Western New York next week between July 16th and the 22nd. This one could end up being hotter than the current heatwave.

A heatwave is defined as a period of 5 or more consecutive days with temps at least 9 degrees above normal.

If you have to be outside during these days, make sure to take frequent breaks, find shade, and make sure to check on your pets if they are outside.
