You're probably familiar with the expression "you can't see the forest for the trees"...It can't be any more true than here on the Niagara Frontier.  We have lived here so long that we forget about the great places in our own backyard.

A few years ago I took off to explore some of the sites, museums, eateries, and places around the area frequented mainly by locals or tourists.  Some of those are listed here, along with favorites that only Niagara Frontier residents know about.

There are numerous other things that you might, depending on taste and sense of adventure want to try including; Zip lining over Niagara, guided wine tours, Cave of The Winds, Skylon Tower, Devils Hole or shopping or dining at Niagara-On-The-Lake.  The kids will enjoy The Aquarium of Niagara, The Buffalo Zoo, as well as The Butterfly Conservatory.

Whether you come from the Canadian or American side, you’ll be able to find museums, wine trails, theme parks, nightlife, family adventures, and plenty more. The Niagara region really boasts something for all ages!  As we get into late September and early October the fall foliage in the area is without match.

If you plan on visiting Canada it would be advisable to remember that extra precautions are in place due to the pandemic.  Here is a site hosted by the Canadian government that might be helpful in advance of your visit.

If you plan on an extended stay it should be noted that Toronto is a mere 90-minute car ride from Niagara Falls.
