It's Funny Friday which means we have my '30 Second Comedy Minute', where we only feature local comedians who are from Buffalo.  We do this because our city is loaded with comedic talent, and because we don't have the resources to go outside our borders.  Now in some cases our comics no longer live in Buffalo, but they will always call the Queen City their home.

Today's comedian fits that description as he now lives in New York City, but was born and raised in Kenmore.  Shaun Murphy has been performing comedy since the age of 19, and 13 years later he is still going strong having performed in comedy clubs and festivals all around the country.

Before moving to NYC, Shaun was a regular at Helium Comedy Club and still makes it back every now and again to entertain us.  He will be back June 3rd & 4th to feature for Kevin Smith at Helium.  Definitely check those shows out, you will not be disappointed.

If you missed Shaun on the show today you can hear him again here.  Also if you want to hear more from Shaun you can follow him on Facebook - Shaun Murphy, or on Twitter @iamshaunmurphy.
