“The Help” Opens This Weekend At The Box Office! [Video]

Since my daughter, Jenna, and I first saw the previews, we have wanted to see the movie "The Help." ("The Help" opened in theatres this past Wednesday.) I'm really not sure what the big attraction is, it just looks like a great movie. Maybe it's because the storyline is different. Maybe it's because the cast is so diverse. Maybe because it looks both funny and meaningful all at the same time.

According to Fandango, "The Help" stars Emma Stone, Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer:

"Three very different, extraordinary women in Mississippi during the 1960s, who build an unlikely friendship around a secret writing project that breaks societal rules and puts them all at risk. From their improbable alliance a remarkable sisterhood emerges, instilling all of them with the courage to transcend the lines that define them, and the realization that sometimes those lines are made to be crossed—even if it means bringing everyone in town face-to-face with the changing times."
