The 10 Best Places For Christmas

I think we need a recount! WalletHub has put out a list of the "Best Places for Christmas" in the US. And while Buffalo was not on the Top 10 list, our city did land in middle of the pack. They used key factors in categories like Traditions and Fun, Observance, Generosity, and Shopping in the top 100 metro areas to determine which place is best!

Here is the Top 10:

1. Chicago, IL
2. San Francisco, CA
3. Pittsburgh, PA
4. New York, NY
5. Seattle, WA
6. Orlando, FL
7. Atlanta, GA
8. Washington, DC
9. Las Vegas, NV
10. Portland, OR

Buffalo come in at 51 on the list which does leave the city room for improvement. In the four categories posted we finished in the Top 50 for 3 out of the four categories, the fourth category however was not so good. Buffalo scored 95 out of 100, with 1 being the best and 100 being the worst, in Generosity. To be honest that is a little shocking for the "City of Good Neighbors," but at this time of year a gentle reminder to give a little more is a welcome reminders!
