People go to the fair for a variety of reasons. Some go for the animals, the rides, or the vendors. But if it's the food you're excited about, you're in luck this year.

It’s the time of year that we have all been waiting for: the Best 12 Days of the Summer. A lot of us go for the animals, others for the rides, but whatever you seek at the Erie County Fair, most visits end with one thing in particular.

You may be suffering from "Fair withdrawal" this year because of the pandemic, so a number of events have popped up around the area including a “Taste of the Fair” this past weekend in Niagara County, and it was so well attended they will do it again!

Hammerl Amusements would normally be bringing treats to you at the Erie County Fair. Unfortunately this year, they've had to find new ways of doing that.

It's Erie County Fair time!  One of my FAVORITE food items (if it is even considered food) are deep-fried Oreos!

You don't need me to tell you to expect some strange and interesting culinary concoctions at the Erie County Fair...in fact, looking back at my time on "food row" yesterday, I'm not sure people even go for rides and games anymore! It's all about food...and what you can fry!
