Statewide police agencies will be on high alert for impaired drivers from now through November 1.

WGRZ reports, "The Niagara County Sheriff's Office announced Wednesday that law enforcement from across the state would be on watch for drunk driving this coming week."

The STOP DWI Halloween Crackdown is meant to cut down on drunk driving incidents during the Halloween holiday.
