This summer you might be  able to say you're too tired to go out but there's no excuse for being bored.  There's so much going on this Summer it comes all comes down to finding the time to squeeze in as much fun as possible between work and other responsibilities.  Its all about so much to do and so little time. 

Right now its the Friendship Festival which runs through Tuesday at Riverside Park on the West side and a little bit North of the border at Mather Arch in Fort Erie.  there'll be live music, midway rides, food and drink and of course, fireworks.

The Labatt Canal Concert Series at 45 Main Street in Lockport is free to attend.  All shows run from 5:30 pm til 11 pm.  Upcoming concerts feature Eddie Money on July 6th,  Rik Emmet on July 13th, Big Wreck on July 20th, Theory Of A Deadman on July 27th, 54-40 on August 3rd, George Thorogood on August 10th, Kenny Wayne Shepherd on August 17 and Tea Party on August 24th.

Thursday At The Harbor Summer Concert Series is located at the Erie Canal Central Wharf.  Shows run from 5 pm til 9:30pm.  Upcoming concerts feature Arrested Development on July 5th, Seether on July 12th, Young The Giant, Bahamas and The Ruby Spirit on July 19th, Arkells, Gomez and Elliott Brood on July 26th, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Wildlife on August 2nd, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Ron Hawkins and The Do-Good Assassins on August 9th, Salt-N-Pepa on August 16th and Matt Nathanson and Lights on August 23rd.

Artpart at 450 South 4th Street in Lewiston's First Niagara Tuesdays In The Park series features Huey Lewis & The News on July 3rd, Sublime with Rome on July 10th, Yes and Procul Harum on July 17th, Heart on July 24th, Steve Miller Band on July 31st, Peter Frampton on Aug. 7th, Sheryl Crow on Aug. 14th, Roger Hodgson of Supertramp on Aug. 21st, The Machine performs Pink Floyd on Aug. 28th and Charlie Daniels Band on sept. 4th. 

All shows start at 6:30 pm.  Admission is $5.

Artpark's Coors Light Wednesdays series features  Lowest Of The Low on July 11th, The Trews with Ill Scarlet On July 18th, Citizen Cope on July 25th and O.A.R.with Rebelution on Aug. 1st.

The Wednesday evening shows start at 6:30pm and are free.

This is a sampling of the more "substantial" attractions to impact metro Buffalo this summer.  Wow!  I've never seen such an exciting summer of entertainment and assorted fun stuff come our way in a long time.  No boredom allowed.  Enjoy!
