10 People Shot in Front of Empire State Building [BREAKING NEWS]

CNN and the New York City Fire Department are reporting that at least 10 people were shot Friday (August 24) in front of the Empire State Building in New York.

Authorities responded to reports of gunfire around 9 a.m.  Two people are reportedly dead, including the shooter, who was killed by police. Several nearby streets are closed.
