The Buffalo Museum of Science has finally completed its 5-year renovations to the permanent exhibits in the facility. The fourth-floor "Buffalo in Space" exhibit officially opens on Monday August 21.

According to the President and CEO of the museum, Marisa Wigglesworth, the Kellogg Observatory will be open to the public sometime this spring. The Observatory has been closed to the public since 1999.

While we anticipate the opening in the spring, here's a video from the museum's Facebook page showing the time-lapse construction of the new dome.
