Pussy Willows Banned For Dyngus Day 2013

Due to the over-abundance of new allergies, officials have announced that pussy willows will not be allowed during this year's Dyngus Day celebrations.

Joy FM wants to make sure everyone is in compliance, so we've established a "Pussy Willow Buy Back Program" for Monday. Between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., stop by the Kiosk at Airport Plaza Jewelers with your pussy willows, and exchange them for the acceptable replacement.

To ease the pain of breaking tradition, you may also enter to win a diamond necklace from Airport Plaza Jewelers worth almost $800.  You must exchange at least one pussy willow to be eligible to enter to win.

We understand how hard this news is to take for some traditionalists...but we also want to make sure everyone is safe and happy at this year's celebrations.
