As the gun-talk is building up following last Friday’s events in Newton, Connecticut, many look to officials for fun control in America. Many think that gun control laws could have prevented Adam Lanza from committing those murders last week. Others, think that with gun control laws or not, it still would have happened. After a week of silence, the National Rifle Association plans to hold a press conference to address the situation.

The National Rifle Association of America is made up of four million moms and dads, sons and daughters – and we were shocked, saddened and heartbroken by the news of the horrific and senseless murders in Newtown.

Out of respect for the families, and as a matter of common decency, we have given time for mourning, prayer and a full investigation of the facts before commenting.

The NRA is prepared to offer meaningful contributions to help make sure this never happens again.

It also announced a news conference that will happen in Washington on Friday, according to NRA's website.

In wake of the Newton shootings, we have banners at the Walden Galleria for everyone to sign to show our Buffalo love out to Newton. It is beyond heartwarming to see everyone stop in to sign the banner including, Buffalo Bill's running back CJ Spiller. We started with just 2 banners hoping to fill them up by the end of today. We had to run out and grab two new banners because the first two have already been filled and these suckers are HUGE. We’ll be in the new addition, lower level, near Sephora. We’ll send it later this week, so they have it in time for Christmas.
