Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat!!!

Niagara Falls is calling it quit this year. With a 90 million dollar budget you'd think we could make a few fireworks work.

Well really--New York State is still in the middle of their feud with the casinos and trying to work out their budget.

Mayor Paul Dyster wanted $25,000 in order to continue the firework display and the Niagara Falls council said nope. There will still be fireworks on the Canada side.

Funds are tight in the city of Niagara Falls," Voccio said. "We just felt that considering the constraints we have financially, the best bet was to vote against it. That's why it was unanimous", according to the full story on WGRZ.
