New State Record Set At Great Pumpkin Farm Weigh Off

Seeing the enormous pumpkins is always fun at The Great Pumpkin Farm in Clarence, but 2018 was a record-setting year, earning the top pumpkin a prize of $10,000.

WGRZ reports "a pumpkin grown by Karl Haist of Clarence Center weighed in at a whopping 2,027 pounds."

He came in second last year, and because the ginormous gourd set a new state record, he earned the top cash prize.
