JOYfm's Movie Profiler Melinda Petrow is the go-to girl for spotting movie trends and Hollywood’s next big thing.

A major movie maven, Melinda first fell in love with film when she was six years old when she was exposed to such classics as “Singin’ in the Rain”, “Saturday Night Fever” and “Spaceballs.”

Melinda graduated from UCLA in 2005.

As a spokesperson and columnist for Fandango, Melinda has written for the site’s special sections devoted to Oscars, summer blockbusters and holiday movies.

Melinda has been interviewed as a movie expert on such national outlets as Entertainment Tonight, The Today Show, TV Guide Network, Access Hollywood, AP Television, Reuters Television, NBC News and ABC News, and is featured Friday mornings on "Buffalo's Morning Show" with Joe & Cheryl.

Melinda lives in Santa Monica, where her favorite pastime-other than movie going- is delivering the dirt on her own personal celebrity-sightings by the beach.
