Maintenance Worker Helps Woman Escape From Her Kidnapper [VIDEO]

A woman in Kansas City was being kidnapped when she came up with an escape plan by slipping a note in with her monthly rent payment. Fortunately, she was freed when the maintenance man said he needed to go into the apartment to fix a water leak.

Maintenance man Mychael Reyes tells KMBC News in Kansas City that the woman’s captor was just relaxing on the couch when he carried out the plan to free her. Her boyfriend, or hopefully ex-boyfriend,  Anthony Allen, is currently being held on a $500,000 bond.
