If a line has, indeed, been drawn in the sand between Taylor Swift and married couple Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber seems to have chosen a side.

Very early this morning (August 2), a sunglasses-ed Bieber posted a photo to Instagram in which he's talking to West and manager Scooter Braun via FaceTime. Seems harmless enough, except the caption reads "Taylor swift what up," which might as well read "hide under your desks and prepare for the air raid."

Some followers found the sentiment petty, and insisted Bieber was lashing out because his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez, is still good pals with Swift.

"I've been loving you so much for 7 years but this time you made a great mistake.... Selena will never go back with you. Accept this. Don't try to hit her talking about her bf," one wrote, while another noted "Your bio says help 'change the world' yet you're adding to drama that's nearly died down well done"

Other fans, meanwhile, praised Bieber for speaking his mind.

"Drag that snake!" one wrote. Another commented: "I'm happy he shaded her."

The latest installment of the Taylor/Kanye and Kim drama came in mid-July, when Kardashian shared a video in which Swift seems to endorse West's "Famous" lyric "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex" via phone call. Swift had previously publicly denounced the lyric as hurtful, and Kardashian said she was sick of Swift playing the victim while West looked like a villain.
