Jennifer Hudson Can Finally Have Closure

Today is sentencing day for Jennifer Hudson's former brother-in-law, who has been convicted of the 2008 murder of three of her family members.

It's hard to believe that four years have gone by since William Balfour murdered Jennifer's mother, brother and nephew out of jealousy. The 31 year old faces a mandatory "life in prison" sentence without the possibility of parole, because of the triple murders.

Sources have indicated that William Balfour's lawyer is planning to argue for a new trial before the sentencing is handed down. The lawyer believes that Jennifer Hudson's testimony should have been thrown out, because he thinks that he celebrity status could have possibly swayed the jury.

In my opinion, Jennifer Hudson's celebrity status should not even be an issue, regarding a new trial. William Balfour brutally murdered three members of her family, and so he should definitely spend the rest of his life in prison. At least he is still alive and his family can watch him grow old behind bars. Jennifer doesn't that option with her family members... Just sayin'!
