Indie Author Day @ The Central Library

Ever thought of becoming a writer? Whether it be short stories, novels, poems or more; may I suggest attending the Indie Author Day , this Saturday (Oct. 14) at the Central Library, downtown Buffalo.

Fifty local authors will be participating in Indie Author Day from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.  Free and open to the public, Indie Author Day offers opportunities for authors and authors-to-be to network and learn about publishing and marketing their work.  Local authored books will be on sale as well. 

So get in touch with your creative muse and educate yourself with others who have the passion, talent and knowledge of becoming a published author.

A discussion on understanding the patent & trademark process takes place on Thursday, Oct. 12 at 4p.m. and PFLAG shows the film The David Dance on Sunday, Oct. 15 at 1:00p.m.

There are several free exhibits at the Library including –

Building Buffalo: Buildings from Books, Books from Buildings;

Hauptman-Woodward Institution informational display;

and the Hispanic Heritage in WNY display (through 10/11)
