Townsquare Media, parent company of Mix 96, is proud to support WNY Heroes, a local non-profit organization that helps veterans and their families RIGHT HERE in Western New York.

As both a supporter of our military and an AVID dog lover, I love their newest program – "Pawsitive for Heroes", which places trained service dogs with veterans.

Here's a picture from this year's Red Cross Bash with the president and founder of WNY heroes, Chris Kreiger, his girlfriend Lynn and his faithful service companion (and my second-favorite dog) Bubba.

YOU can help great dogs like Bubba be placed with area vets too by treating your OWN dog (or one you love)!
