Detroit police say 28-year-old Robert Eddins was shot and killed on Tuesday, along with another man, 32-year-old Ricky McFarland.

Police say the gas stove was left on in the home they were found in, with the pilots turned off, leading them to believe this was intentional and not random.  There were no signs of forced entry.

Both men died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Police are investigating, and believe the suspect could be someone both men knew.

Eddins played for the Bills in 2011.
