Erie County Sheriff Offers Free Car Seat Safety Check in Amherst

Putting in a car seat can be tricky. It's not always easy to tell if you've installed one correctly.

Take the guesswork out of your child's safety this Saturday, when the Erie County Sherrif's Office will be conducting a free car seat safety check at Northtown Automotive in Amherst.

And, if you are in need of a new seat, you'll be given one.

According to ErieCoBlotter.com, "The Northtown Companies has purchased $3000.00 worth of car seats and is generously donating the seats for this and future events.  If a Deputy discovers a damaged or expired car seat, Northtown will provide free replacements to the parent or guardian as long as the child is present."

The event takes place at Northtown Mazda (3920 Sheridan Drive, Amherst, NY) this Saturday (June 30) from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M.
