Marley (Submitted by Sarah-Elizabeth Viman)

Marley was born on May 5, 2011. He is a 2-year-old purebred Golden Retriever. Marley loves to be taken out on long daily walks. He is a very loving, caring and loyal dog to the family. He is very calm and poised, but when she sees other dogs, he turns into a very loud, barking, mad dog, simply because he is so friendly and wants to play. Marley enjoys spending his day by sleeping in the sun or equally next to the air vent to catch a breeze from the air conditioner. He is a very good older brother to his little sister Bella, a Beagle. I had taught Marley last summer how to jump over mini garden fences in order to practice for a competition, if he ever was going to one. His favorite toys are plastic water bottles; he loves the sound to it, and it’s probably good for his teeth. We try not to give him too much table food, but when we do, fish and bread are his favorite. In the morning when I get ready for school, he'd be downstairs still sleeping, and as I’d quietly open the bread bag, he'd rush upstairs wanting a slice. Marley is such a beautiful and loyal dog to the family, and I love him so much.

Cassie (Submitted by Tammy Haseley)

Cassie is a 1-year-old Goldendoodle. She is the sweetest, most lovable, loyal and prettiest "girl"!! She loves everyone, including her friends she visits at the Adult Resident Facility she visits weekly. She loves to play Frisbee and soccer in the backyard. She also loves her daily walks at the park.

Here is my little Bella getting into her cousin’s Christmas presents. Bella is an 8-year-old Shih Tzu and greets you by licking your toes!

Two-year-old Luca is a Shih Tzu whose favorite activities are napping on your lap or riding in the car, but don't stop because he will start to shake. He was the puppy push-up champion at his school in 2012, too!

Callie (Submitted by Tracy Capparra)

Callie is a 5-month-old JRT mix. She is my fourth rescue dog in the past six months. Callie is the sweetest little girl. She loves to snuggle with her big brothers Sammy, Maxwell and Zeppelin, sister Darcy and her two kitty sisters, Trouble and Swisher. Callie doesn't mind strutting her stuff in her bikini too!!!

Luigi and Matilda (Submitted by Brittany Papaj)

Luigi is a male Morkie, and Matilda is a Havanese. They are two weeks apart and are the best of friends. They love to cuddle with each other, and when they are apart, they are very sad because they miss each other so much.

Cassie and Margaret (Submitted by Kristin Reed)

These are my babies – I couldn't just talk about one. Please meet Cassie (black) and Margret (fawn). Cassie is a mix breed Black Lab/Colby Pit. I adopted her when she was 7 weeks old from the S.P.C.A. She turned 10 this past January. She is the most amazing thing in my life. She is my protector and my best friend. Miss Margret is a purebred Colby Red-Nose Pit Bull. I rescued her from a breeder at 5 weeks old. She will be 3 years old this August. She has been trained by Cassie and has taken the role of the head protector of the family. She is loving and so funny. Without my dogs, I would be lost. We love our walks and playing in our baby pool. Their favorite toy is the old wheels off the lawnmower, and the most amazing treat to them is ice cubes – summer, winter, fall, all they want are ice cubes!

Tucker is a goofy, hyper, lovable golden retriever. Loves walks in the park, sniffing butts and playing.

Alex (Submitted by Samantha Findlay)

Alex is my 11-year-old Bichon Mix. We’ve had him since he was 8 weeks old. When he was 6 months old, someone took our car that he was in. We found him the next day, and the car not too far from our home. He was a little sketchy around men for a year afterwards, but now he is the sweetest, most obedient and calmest dog I have ever had the pleasure to love and care for! I am so grateful to have him in my life!
